Ingredients (Serves 1):
- 2 slices of sandwich bread
- 1 boiled egg
- 2 slices of ham
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (+extra for spreading)
- Mustard: to taste
- Salt: a pinch
- Black pepper: a pinch
Instructions:
- Peel the boiled egg and mash it finely with a spoon in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Mix well to make the egg salad.
- Cut the sandwich bread in half (or to your preferred size).
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each bread slice.
- Spread the egg salad evenly on one slice of bread, then place 2 slices of ham on top of the egg salad.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, with the spread side facing inward, and gently press down.
