Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 2 slices of sandwich bread
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (+extra for spreading)
  • Mustard: to taste
  • Salt: a pinch
  • Black pepper: a pinch

Instructions:

  1. Peel the boiled egg and mash it finely with a spoon in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Mix well to make the egg salad.
  2. Cut the sandwich bread in half (or to your preferred size).
  3. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each bread slice.
  4. Spread the egg salad evenly on one slice of bread, then place 2 slices of ham on top of the egg salad.
  5. Place the second slice of bread on top, with the spread side facing inward, and gently press down.
  6. Cut the sandwich into your desired size and enjoy!
