Grilled Chicken Thighs with Yakiniku Sauce

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • Chicken thighs: 1 piece
  • Onion: 1/2
  • Garlic: 1 clove
  • Yakiniku sauce: 3 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Preparation
    Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. Slice the onion and garlic thinly.
  2. Start Cooking
    Heat a frying pan with about 1 teaspoon of oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.
  3. Cook the Chicken
    Add the chicken thighs to the pan and cook until browned on all sides. Ensure the chicken is fully cooked inside.
  4. Add Onion and Sauce
    Add the sliced onion and sauté until slightly softened. Then pour in the yakiniku sauce and mix thoroughly to coat all ingredients evenly.
  5. Finish
    Once the sauce thickens slightly and coats the ingredients, turn off the heat. Serve on a plate and enjoy!

Cooking Tip

  • Keep the Chicken Juicy
    Avoid moving the chicken around too much while cooking. Let one side sear well before flipping. For crispy skin, place the chicken skin-side down first.
